Jun 22 2011 Excellent build quality is the primary claim of Riveras new RockCrusher which made its debut at this years winter NAMM show. As you might expect from a product with the Rivera badge on it the RockCrusher isnt the cheapest attenuator out there but in the professional environment tone and reliability are what count closely followed by features and price.
Jul 06 2020 Well the Rockcrusher was hooked up backwards. This was due to two main issues 1. Poor instructions that came with the unit 2. A video by Paul Rivera Junior trying to help folks with hookup issues but basically showing them how to hook it up backwards.

I can even get it so low that I can hear myself pick the strings over the actual sound coming out of the speakers.
Jan 29 2017 I have a Power Station V2 but I have never used the Rivera before. . He swears by the Rock Crusher. Then again he bought it a few years ago pre-PS. From what I have uncovered the PS will do a lot more than the RC loop power amp etc but I suspect that for the sole purpose of attenuation one cant go wrong with either. I can get Rock .

I have had the usual THD Weber Mass 100 amp; 150 TAD Silencer Rivera Rockcrusher and tested some more. I bought SPL based on two members here said it is as good as Fryette.

I was about to get the rock crusher when I did a little more research and found the Two Notes Torpedo ReLoad for a few more dollars you get a whole lot more with the ReLoad. DI Loadbox and Attenuator All simultaneous. I can now run my 5153 at about 4 on the volume to get the valves .
